A laboratory to your service

Dr Julià Gómez, responsible of Microbiology area from LRC, has recently presented the new program for the notification to the Sistema de Notificació Microbiològica de Catalunya. This application has been developed by the LRC in collaboration with the Health Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Up to the date, the register notifications were made directly on the web site; the new application allows the on line connection between Eyra (the LIS from LRC) and the microbiologic register (RSNM). Data is sent in immediate and secure way, increasing the register quality. Eyra-RSNM connection is based on Health Department standards: LOINC, SNOMED, HL7 v3.0 and SNMC.
After a 10 months period of experience and good results, we go on working to complete the microorganisms noticeable panel.
