A laboratory to your service

HiMSS Analytics Europe has awarded the Hospital Municipal de Badalona, managed by Badalona Serveis Assistencials (BSA), the “Stage 6&7 Awards” during European eHealth Week in Budapest. This award is an acknowledgment to the outstanding achievements in adopting electronic medical records, ranging from limited departmental systems through to a paperless medical record environment
The Stage 6&7 Award represents an advanced stage of implementation. It includes closed loop medication administration and a full complement of PACS, as well as clinical decision support capabilities providing guidance for all clinicians related to protocols and outcomes in the form of variance and compliance alerts.
BSA clinical laboratory, managed by LRC, runs from 2010 with Eyra system, a laboratory software developed by LRC, that includes a technical module, a Quality module and a Management module. Through the hospital HIS connection, it facilitates the information management under ISO guidelines.
